Department of Psychiatry & Psychology

The Department of Psychiatry & Psychology provides professional services for individuals with emotional, cognitive, and behavioral concerns. Our psychiatrists, nurse practitioner, and physician assistant provide thorough diagnostic assessment of mental disorders, and they prescribe appropriate medications based on current best practices in psychiatric care. Our psychologists provide a variety of psychological services including diagnostic assessment, psychological and cognitive testing, and psychotherapy based on research-supported methods in psychology.

Specialized Services

Individuals may seek psychiatric or psychological services for a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adjustment to difficult situations (grief and loss, relationship stress, job loss), eating disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.

Our board certified psychiatrists, as well as a nurse practitioner and a physician assistant, provide diagnostic evaluation and medication management in the areas of child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric psychiatry. Their services span the full range of mental health disorders and behavior problems.

Our licensed psychologists provide thorough diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapy for the full spectrum of mental health diagnoses.
