Appeals and Grievances
As a Medical Associates member, you have the right to file a complaint— also called a grievance—about problems you have. If you have a complaint regarding any aspect of care or decisions made by us, please contact our Member Services Department at 563-584-4885 or (toll free) 866-821-1365. We will  investigate your complaint and notify you of the outcome. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you can file an appeal.
