My child ended up having a severe infection, which is what landed us there, and Dr. King, once we got to see him, was absolutely wonderful, and I fully trust him and had good care there. However, scheduling needs to be made more available to get those the help they need."

"This is not the fault of the ENT clinic at all and they helped us out immensely by coming back to clinic after having been at satellite locations all day, but Urgent Care sent us to the ED because there was no one available to suture my child's lip. We waited there for 4 hours and were never seen. Ultimately our peds nurse was able to get a pediatrician to reach out directly to Dr King to see if he would be willing to come to the clinic to see our child and put in a few sutures. The process with the ENT clinic was amazing and everyone was wonderful but Urgent Care sending us off to the ED for a minor injury because there was "no one available" to treat was a huge inconvenience and has caused me to lose a lot of trust."

"This the 2nd time I've come to dr.king with a medical issue,the first time I had human papaloma growth on my uvula, he knew instantly what it was, clipped off my uvula after the growth came back and I've had no issues,he explained how even though I had hysterectomy, it was still in my blood and with stress can come out in my body other ways. I've had problems with my nasal passages flaring up and getting yeast in my nose, I seen allergist and another [REDACTED] doctor but did not get a diagnosis or plan for relief, just an explanation of yeast in my nostrils and rhinitis. I remembered king when I recently am being treated for back pain by your excellent Dr. Marks. So I made an appointment and dr.king knew again what my nostril irritation is, prescribed me a cream for 2 weeks, explained it to me. And I was out of there. He just seems so smart. He seems so knowledgeable. He must know, he seems to cure the symptoms I have without having to stick tubes down my nose, and have multiple visits. I'm greatful. I always felt indifferent about medical associates because of past doctors I've seen and really didn't have the patience, or they seemed burned out, or that they really didn't like their jobs. It's been I think 15 years ago. I have to say I'm 55 now, and have bad experiences with doctors that were independent. I haven't had any bad experiences now, I trust your doctors now like I've always felt safe with [REDACTED] doctors since I was 19. I feel my experience with your doctors now seem like they do like their jobs, they don't seem burned out, impatient. I've been a cna since I was 19 years old. You can recognize burnout in the medical field and nursing field. I remember feeling that with a few of your doctors back in the 90s, the way I saw nurses and round doctors act in the nursing home, understanding their words and facial expressions, and the lack of empathy. I felt it as well just by being a cna, I never took it personally. I just wondered how they were treated themselves. I don't get that feeling anymore. I get a vibe that your staff are happy to be at work like I always felt [REDACTED] doctors and staff acted. Thank you if you have made improvement, and sorry if it was just a musjudgement on my part."

"The only problem I had was to get into Jessica Larson to have a cancer checked. It took three weeks to get into her and she froze two spots and referred me to Dr. King for the third. Again it was 3 weeks to get into King.He removed the spot but pathology said inclusive.It may have to be sent to Iowa City for final diagnosis and I am to report back to Dr. King in 10 days to find out. Dr.King has done two of mine and I don't have a problem with him or his staff. I think they are very capable. The only problem is that in each office there is a sign stating call us first. Something to the effect we can make arrangements. That is not always true and I suggest that sign be removed. Not that I would not wait to be seen, but if it were an emergency I would seek care elsewhere."
