"Dr. Daley continues to be great, and we are blessed to have him! The nurse was friendly and mentioned she was new. However, some parts of the initial checks she did could improve for the toddler age, maybe with some tips or examples from some of the others who also work with pediatrics. She didn't do anything wrong, but I think gaining some tricks to work with the littlest patients could help. For example, some nurses we've had before have had an arrow point to which letter/picture on the screen that they're supposed to say (rather than saying the first, second, last, etc), or often only show one item at a time on the screen instead of a list of four items. If there is a list, going in order through the list rather than jumping around (for example, say the first item in the list, then the last, then the second, then the last again). Also, going over what the pictures could be on the big sheet they usually get to hold before asking them to identify them when they're really small and far away. The little light up toys to distract and get them to look a certain way so they can check what they need to has also been helpful. Again, she didn't do anything wrong and was respectful. However, growing some of the "tricks for young pediatric patients" who don't necessarily know letters or first/last/etc language that many of the other nurses use could be really helpful."

"I had a sudden onset of an eye issue. Dr. Daly and his staff were extremely responsive to my issue. Triage ( I believe I talked to Michael) gave me number of on call doc for the weekend and symptoms to watch for, made an appointment for my regular eye care provider, and was extremely helpful. "Thankful for the wonderful care provided to my son Clayton today and the prompt follow up phone call early this morning. After a late evening trip to the ER, MA Ophthalmology called at 0700 wanting to see Clayton right away. Kuddos to the receptionist for following up promptly after checking messages. As a nurse, I know follow up care doesn't usually happen this fast. Sometimes people wait for days or months to get into a provider, especially on a Friday! I was going to call either way, but the receptionist beat me to it. However, I am certain the team would have seen Clayton if I would have called. Thank you Dr. Daley for removing the metal shaving, instant relief for Clayton! Would have been a long weekend of pain for Clayton and probably another ER visit. Please share with your team. :)"

His staff were very personable & I could tell they enjoy what they do. Overall, a very good experience today. The one area of improvement & what would be helpful, as a patient, would be to know approximately how long the appt will take when receiving reminder text messages from the clinic. I had anticipated 1.5 hrs and was actually there 2.75 hrs. Thankfully the first staff member let me know today at the appt, so I was able to adjust my schedule accordingly. I feel confident & am looking forward to working with Dr. Daley and his staff in the future."

The xray of my eyes went great also. Dr Daley listened to my my concerns and questions and his explanation was clear. "Dr Daley is phenomenal. He always takes his time to answer all questions and ensure we fully understand why he does each test. The technology of MA itself is outdated and needs some significant improvement. I didn't get a reminder text or call, just a text to fill out the pre registration items online. We schedule a year in advance, a text a week ahead would be helpful. It would give us a chance to cancel or reschedule if needed. If we need to cancel, it gives you time to fill the appointment space as well. Beyond that, the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. She asked for the insurance card which I said I uploaded photos of during the pre registration. She argued saying she didn't see it and it wasn't there, however, she mid telling me she didn't have it had a printed copy of my uploaded photos in her hand. It was clearly uploaded and she just kept saying she didn't have it but somehow was able to print it. She then had to ask someone else how to enter the insurance without a card that she again had photos of. Most companies don't even mail cards anymore, it's all electronic so the arguing over a physical card is pointless. Again, Dr Daley is awesome. I've debated so many times to go somewhere else because of the issues with everyone but Dr Daley. The only reason we come back is because he does a great job with my kiddo."

Went to the Galena eye department (closed on Wed.) then to Main Floor Med Assoc. desk and learned we needed to go to Dubuque. West Campus worked me in - which was okay, but I would have been on time if I knew that's where I should have gone."
