There seemed to be no space to discuss the benefits of exercise or supplements to help slow the progress of my osteoporosis. There was no explanation why exercise beyond ADL's would be helpful. He never asked what activities I did in a days time but said I was active. It seemed to be an incomplete assessment and discussion."

I had written on my paper that I was interested in discussing a cure for type 1 diabetes. He read it out loud and proceeded to laugh/giggle/chuckle. He then looks at me and says you know there is no such thing. So I then told him that the only thing that I needed from him was his signature on the necessary paperwork to complete the necessary red tape for me to get my insulin. Very sad that I have an Endo that thinks a cure fore type 1 diabetes is a unicorn."
