Sara received her Bachelor's degree in Biology with a Health minor from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, in 2010. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Clarke University in 2014. After graduation, she worked in Fort Dodge, Iowa, for about five years before returning home to Dubuque to work at Medical Associates in 2019.
Sara has been a certified provider of LSVT BIG therapy for patients diagnosed with Parkinson's disease since 2018. She is also a certified provider of ASTYM for soft tissue mobilization, BFR blood flow restriction training, as well as being trained in functional dry needling. She enjoys working with a variety of patient age ranges and diagnosis. As a former collegiate swimmer, she has a special interest in aquatic therapy.
Sara lives in Dubuque with her family and enjoys swimming, running, and spending time with her family.
