"I sat in Urgent Care for 2 hours waiting for a CT scan pre approval. Told up to 72 hours to get. Then Urgent Care sent me to ER to get scan and I sat in waiting room for 2 1/2 hours waiting for a room. Was in for a total of 7 1/2 hours that day. Neither Urgent Care or ER were actual Dr's. Why are we paying such high medical bills when we don't even see Dr's. We see PA's, especially in ER. This is not right Insurance Companies and Clinics/Hospitals screwing the people. Very frustrated"

"When my care provider saw me, she tested me for several things and told me I'd have to wait for two hours to get the results. I was in there at 1:30 and I got a call back at 3:30 with prescription medicine and by that time the pharmacy was closed."

"We had some concerns about the sanitary condition in the treatment room and the bathroom. Trash in the bathroom overflow ed with urine collection waste and there was dried blood on the floor of the treatment room."

"I was happy with the physician assistant, however she stated I had a wax build up in my left ear and she didn't do anything about it. I thought she may suggest options to cleaning the wax out. I went in for sinus infection and she was excellent in care for that issue. Just wished she would have addressed the wax buildup."

"I felt like the next "cow" in a branding line, Already had the covid, rsv, and influenza test kit in the room when she walked in. Didn't listen to what had been going on, only concerned about a virus."

"This was a visit to acute care. I saw the dr soon after I arrived. An ultrasound was ordered. I understand that they were working me in without an appointment but I waited an hour to get the ultrasound. That was a long time sitting. After the ultrasound I returned to acute care. After waiting another almost an hour for the report, I was really antsy and irritated. I finally did get the report but I was there 3 hours altogether. It might have been quicker to go to the ER. Please find a way to remedy these long, long waits."

"Dr. Molly, the front desk secretary, and nurses made me feel comfortable and safe while in a vulnerable state. I found it easy to be open about my symptoms and reason for coming in. They were all very gentle and understanding, while asking the right questions. I was able to get in and out in a reasonable amount of time and am grateful they were able to find a pharmacy in town to pick up my prescription on day most places were otherwise closed. When the first pharmacy did not end up having that prescription, I called the clinic back and they were able to send it upstairs at medical associates so I would have some relief the same day. They all made it very easy for me to receive the help I was seeking."

"This provider sent in the wrong dosage to the pharmacy as well as the wrong prescription that we decided on. So I had to go through multiple hoops on getting the correct drug and thankfully the pharmacist noticed the correct dosage."

"It'd be great if the reviews, like the calls for them, were constant until you answer. It should be an optional thing where they call once and then it stops. And if you answer, you answer. If you don't, you don't. It gets irritating."

"After breaking a vertebrae...nothing for pain but Tylenol? How could you do this to an 83 year old woman? I think they need to go through something like this so they can seriously understand the pain of a fracture. Deplorable. You need serious pain meds for at least your first 10 days. Shame on you!"

"Very competent and kind staff throughout my treatment period. The same can be said about Mercy Ultrasound staff."

"I came in with an emerging case of an infection in my foot. I've have instances in the past of acute infections, and came to Acute Care immediately. Saw someone, but was rather "dismissed", and sent home. The unfortunate outcomes were very serious infections, which resulted in hospitalizations, including surgery. This visit on 10/19/2025 was completely different. My provider really listened to me, and most importantly, HEARD me. I told her I realized that she didn't know my history, but that I have had these types of symptoms before, and as a result, my health can go south very quickly. She ordered tests, did an exam, including getting a culture of the wound. Ultimately, this resulted in me getting admitted, and receiving IV antibiotics, in order to stop the infection. This was the best interaction, and result, from any experience in Acute Care that I have ever had."

"I had been having trouble hearing out of my right ear because of some kind of blockage. The two nurses I worked with were excellent and the one that did the flushing out did a fabulous job. They remarked that they have a lot of experience doing those that not all the nurses in the hospital actually have. But Acute Care has them all the time so they do a very good job."

"The main reason I went up for was a spider bite that kept getting bigger and was bruised. Even my work told me that I should get it looked at. During my visit she told me to watch it for any changes. I think I needed an antibiotic because I felt dizzy on two different occasions and fell since my visit. I have been sick to my stomach and extremely tired."

"I went in there with a UTI. I knew what I had, and it took three hours for me to get a prescription for some antibiotics. I really think that's an unreasonable amount of time to have to sit and wait for antibiotics when the place was not that busy. That's one hospital I've been to several times, and every time I have the same experience. I do not believe I will ever go there again."
