"I asked, I've been asking Dr. Peracci many, many times. I've been going to him over four years. And I asked him many times how my eyes are doing. And he really didn't say anything. But this time, I asked him how my eyes are doing. And he said my right eye is doing great. My left eye is not doing good. And because I get the shots every six weeks. So I wanted to know how my eyes were doing, and finally, he answered me. And I have asked the nurses many times, and I even asked doctor, I used to see Dr. [REDACTED] for a new doctor, but she said, there's nobody else that does it. That's a shame, I wish you had somebody else. Anyway, finally, he told me how my eyes were doing."

I do feel that there is sometimes a marked difference in the treatment in regards to being treated as an individual with individual needs, vs "another" patient with the "same" problem(s) the last patient had requiring this particular treatment, and the next one will, too. Sometimes it feels like the patient is just the next one on the row of patients for the day, and needs to be "gotten through" to get to the next one. This is not an overall sense, but an occasional feeling in some instances. It is limited to some individuals, not the team/experience as a whole, and I believe is not intended to send a message of impatience or uncaring, intentionally. Perhaps some people just have a less generous "bedside" manner, which dies not equate to not caring."

"As a new patient -- and one professionally well-acquainted with producing online patient forms -- I can tell you that the pre-registration documents are terrible. It was impossible to complete the financial form and the other documents that required signature and any typing (date, etc.). They were not Acrobat FILL-IN forms that could be completed, saved and moved on. There did not seem to be any way for those of us who DO have an electronic signature, and of course a full Acrobat Pro subscription, to be able to complete said form and either save, or download and reupload said completed form, back to the site. Otherwise, everything went smoothly, the entire care team were personable and professional, and I couldn't be more pleased. But someone needs to examine the pre-reg documents, esp. since they're most likely one of the very first interactions of a new patient with your team."

He told me my macular had not changed in four years so I did not need to see him anymore. Then I asked him what would cause a change in my having trouble with my vision at night and he said it could be from my macular, so I felt his information was conflicting and didn't make sense."
