"I when to urgent care because of knee pain. If was terminated to be gout, but I have had a history of gout. I was prescribed 3 table of Colchicine ..6mg and 5 days of Prednisone 20mg. We discussed 20 tablets of Colchicine, that I have had in the past for the exit time. I thought we had an agreement, but no. Yes, I haven had gout in a while, but when I do get it comes in wave. I have to figure out what has changed in my diet, and I don't away get it right, so having pain pill and extra gout pills is a must. I live over an hour away. Plus, this is just another way to make more money, be requiring multiple doctor visits, plus I have been waiting 3 months to get into my GP."

She told me that if I went into a nose, throat, or EMT that they would laugh at my face if I requested a five-day Z-Pak which I thought was very disrespectful. So with that being said I would not come back to this to this provider."

"This was the first time that I had an awful visit to acute care. First of all, I walked in and I had hurt my back. I pulled a muscle in my back. But I was in enough pain and I thought, well, there's only one other person here. That's good. Then I should get in pretty soon. I got back in to see the nurse probably in about maybe 10, 15 minutes, which I thought was kind of a long wait considering there was one person in the waiting room and I think the nurse or the girls told me they had two patients back there. Anyway, then I got the nurse came in and did her job. She was very good and friendly. Then I had to wait 35 minutes before Dr. Schaefer came in the room. And I find that deplorable that I had to wait so long when the nurse said she'll be in in a few minutes. So I don't think I'll go back to acute care. I think I'll go to my own provider. But anyway, this was kind of short notice. The pain was so bad. I thought I better go. So that's why I went to acute care."

She said she could run tests, but it was getting late in the day, so she sent me to ER. I waited two hours to get in an ex room, and decided to leave, because some patients had been waiting 6-7 hours ahead of me. I would be more comfortable at my home!"

She told me she would send a report to OB/GYN and I needed to see them the next day. Any one on that staff. The receptionist there said they did not get the request and said the only slot available was not until Wed. or wait until April. She was very unfriendly. I called acute are and they informed me the request was sent and was received. It is hard for me to believe with 5 female doctors there I could not be seen on Monday when I am bleeding heavily."

"I came in for a few things. One of which was some help with my high blood pressure. Got told to go somewhere else. Also came in thinking I may have a kidney or bladder infection. Told them I have been having alot of pain. Did urine test and no sign of infection. When I asked what may be causing the pain she said to alternate ibuprofen and Tylenol and to use a heating pad. DID NOT even try to figure out the issue."

"The provider was condescending and made us sound crazy for asking if there was help for a Covid Infection... She was very dismissive when I was not able to be at my best... we came in bc my wife had received a drug 'mup...???' to treat her Covid when she had it the previous fall... and we didn't know if I should receive a drug to help treat my Covid?? Not that crazy. right? She basically mansplained that there are no drugs that treat Covid symptoms... I must be thinking of Tammaflu and there is only "M--" and "P--- for treating Covid and those don't treat symptoms and are only given to keep someone out of the hospital" Now I am grateful for this information, and grateful that my symptoms did not seem bad enough for this drug...but not for how the information was given...No sympathy for me whatsoever... no real kindness expressed or personability. She didn't examine me... she didn't ask how my symtoms were... she wouldn't know if I needed this drug or not...She was loud and forceful in her approach and didn't let me speak...or listen to me as I remember... now granted... I wasn't feeling well and may have been sensative but that makes it all the worse bc she treated me like I was a fool for coming in when I really wasn't at my best / feeling well... The Nurse never even told me my temperature... She seemed utterly frustrated that I was even there..."

"Yeah, so I let this physician know what was going on because I've experienced bronchitis many times before and she turned around and said it was viral and when it wasn't, I was hacking up green stuff from basically from my lungs. You know, I asked her to provide me with an antibiotic so that I could get this thing cleared up but instead she issued me a steroid and an inhaler which basically did nothing. I had an old prescription left at the house that I took and within one day, I started to feel better. By Monday, I was up and going. So no, I definitely would not recommend her. She was rude, especially when she came up with the comment of, well, I'll swab your nose and check you."

"All of the people involved from reception to the end were extremely friendly and respectful of my needs. The wait times were extremely long. It took 1 and 1/2 hrs from the time I checked in until I saw the Doctor. Then had to wait another 1/2 Hr. plus for Xray. Otherwise the CT employees were very prompt. I arrived around 9am and was not able to leave until 3:35. Yes they were very busy, to be fair."

"Michelle Schafer (I believe is the spelling of her name) and the nurse that was working [REDACTED] were the most disrespectful, rude people I've ever encountered. They made me feel as if I was interrupting their night and that my issues weren't a concern at all. I felt as if I was not listened to and my issues were brushed under the rug. One example being - when the nurse asked what I was there for I explained how I was sick, thought I had an ear infection, and a rash on my face. When asked how long I had the rash, I explained that I had it going on two months - before I could even explain where the location of the rash was, she rudely interrupted me, scuffled, and rudely said "well why didn't you call your primary doctor". This was all before I was able to explain that I had been using new skin care products and I stopped doing anything that was new that may make the rash go away she brushed off what I said and told me the doctor will be in shortly. I waited in there for about 35 minutes and when the doctor came in, she sat down and said what's wrong with you. I said a few different things and she sighed as if again, I was wasting her time. She was in the room with me for maybe 10 minutes and told me that I had an upper respiratory infection. Didn't recommend any medicine for it told me I had fluid on my ears. Didn't recommend anything for that and explain to me in a rude manner that my skin rash on my face is super difficult to get rid of. I tried to explain to her. I believe that I had that same diagnosis on my finger fingers last December and she completely over talked to me and didn't even let me finish what I was saying. She said she was going to prescribe me cream. Didn't recommend anything to make me feel better with the cough and ear issue that I was complaining about and said she would send over the prescription and walked out. Didn't tell me to have a good night, nothing as I was walking out the nurse was sitting at the nurses station her and I made eye contact and she turned her head and didn't even tell me to have a good night. I'm still not feeling the best so I called up to acute care to see who the doctor was and it was the same one that Michelle, and I wasn't going to be treated the same way that I was on Thursday. I have never been treated with such disrespect before. She was the absolute worst doctor I have ever seen, and the nurse [REDACTED] was the worst nurse I've ever had to deal with. They have no bed side manners, no compassion, and no respect for anyone else. I feel like I was completely dismissed and like my feelings don't matter. I would NEVER recommend anyone going to acute care if she was the doctor because of how rude and arrogant she and the nurse were. The worst experience I've ever had. I never fill out these surveys, but you can look at the call record; I called back Thursday night asking for the names of both the nurse and doctor."
