"When I asked for an appointment for shortness of breath and dizziness, I didn't expect the next morning. That was quick. I check-in via an email, and was also sent one voicemail reminder and two email reminders of my next day 10:30 am appt. Even though I registered online, I went to the 2nd floor desk line and waited to check in again. There were three of us waiting in line, two ladies and myself. The two desk staff people were in deep gossip mode. The two ladies in line were just standing there, but I loudly asked if anyone would wait on someone please? To which I received a smirk. Then, the rep I talked with told me three times that she found no appt for me, that I must be mistaken. I told her that I just registered online and received a VM and two emails reminders, so I'm going to sit down and wait to be called. (I had trouble with this desk before). She said that she saw nothing booked for me, but then suddenly said that I actually did have an appt. (She must have still been upset that I broke up her gossip time.) A few months ago, I noticed a weird discoloration around some skin grafting that Ophthalmology did on my face. Because it involves cancer cells, I ask for two minutes for someone to look at it now. The ophthalmology receptionist told me to either wait two months for an appt or to just take a photo of my face and send it SMS it to her for review. I just hung up. What was I paying for coverage to be seen by med staff if I just send a snapshot in? When I come to the 2nd floor desk, I now expect trouble, so I plan to keepy composure. They are by far the worst at all of Med Assoc reception. Ist floor by labs are the happiest and most responsive."

"I had moved here from Georgia and Florida, and the level of care that I found in this area is somewhat different, but very much a quality product. The situation for Florida, not so much, but Georgia was great, but I was not bad. And they don't push specialties as much, but that's fine, because the doctors are thorough enough that it solves the problem. That's the end of my comment."

"I was saddened when the tri-state surgery nurse called me to her desk as I was heading to my 2nd floor appointment. She asked "did you read the sign on the entrance door?". I said no I didn't. I was concentrating on my footage. I did not say that to her. I like to come to my appointments through that entrance because of the handicap parking spaces are handy. The receptionist said she would allow me to continue on in however when I was ready to leave I had to use the main entrance. I did so. When you enter the main entrance it is as if you have to walk through a 2 mile ballroom. Finding a handicap parking place in the front is bewildering. When I made it to my car all those handicap spaces were empty in that tri state surgery area except for me. Thank you for this opportunity. [REDACTED]"

He is very patient and I know he understands what [REDACTED] is going through, especially since he is experiencing the beginning stages of Alzheimers. "Yes, everything was well, great communication, complete answers and good evaluation. One area was very poor. I waited one hour before I could see my doctor. I'm always on time, probably 10 minutes early so that I do not have to have my doctor wait. I believe that 60 minutes waiting is way too long at any time. If a doctor cannot see me in a short period, in a short amount of time, at least his nurse could come out and tell me, you have a 50 minute wait, I'm sorry. But I didn't hear that other, I think that 60 minute wait is way too long. Thank you."
