"I visited Acute Care on a Sunday morning. It was very busy, but the check-in staff was so kind and very efficient. I arrived a few minutes after the clinic opened at 8 a.m., and there were already nine people in line ahead of me. Just a few minutes after I checked in, I was called into the clinic. I was diagnosed, got a prescription, and was out of the clinic by 9 a.m. I am so impressed with Medical Associates. I was sick with the flu, so not a great experience to have to visit the doctor, but the staff and medical team certainly made it less of a hassle than I thought it would be. Thank you!"

"All in all a very good experience, but I think it would be helpful to have written instructions to clarify treatment. I did receive a handout on my condition, but I was confused if I needed OTC for pain or to reduce swelling and was unclear how much and how long to take it and didn't realize I needed clarification until she had left my room. Also, surprised the only vital taken was temperature."

"The nurse and receptionist knew what they were doing. The provider left a bit to be desired. She did not review the patient history prior to entering the room to provide treatment. She did not have her computer with her in the room to review the med list, and know that patient had multiple medical conditions that would affect treatment plan. She did not know of recent lab work done, and had to ask the patient and daughter alot of medical questions about the patient that she should have at least had the computer with her to review the history with the patient if she did not have time prior to entering room to discuss plan of care. This is basic training for providers. If a family member was not with this elderly patient to assist in answering questions that the provider should have researched prior to exam and treatment plan, this could have been a poor outcome for the patient. Please try to do better."

"Finally, after a visit to Acute Care and 2 phone calls I was able to get over this virus that was hanging on for over 3 weeks. Felt I was being bounced around and no one would listen until this visit. This gal was very nice and I truly appreciated her help in getting over this nasty virus."

"I needed to go to the lab twice due to a mistake in checking what tests were to be completed. This doubled my wait time. I arrived around 4pm and was sent to the ER for a CT Scan about 6:30pm. Had an xray and two lab visits within that time."
