"I've never had a doctor say "what do you want me to do", as soon as he comes into the room. I just finished explaining to the nurse why I was there. I did get the information I needed about my issue. My and my husband's visit did not come across warm and friendly. Years of experience with doctors and office visits, a person gets use to the doctor coming in and greeting you in a friendly manner and then proceed with conversation about a person's issue before doing anything. Maybe it was an off or bad day. Needless to say, I won't be returning if I need podiatry help. I have enough stress in my life with only having a 1/3 of my Heart working. "Good afternoon. Well, good evening. When I arrived at Medical Associates Clinic, I was advised to go to Connect Care. The gentleman that was sitting in Connect Care, I tried to speak to him. He told me to give him a minute. He was on the phone. He never came out. He never responded to me. I had to wait for the young lady to come back from break to take care of me. came out, turned his light off, and shut his door, walked off, never asked me if I needed any help or anything. But the young lady in the other office at ConnectCare, when she came back for lunch, she did take care of me properly. Thank you."

"I called for an appointment Friday late afternoon & was able to be seen Monday morning. I was impressed I could get in so quickly. This was my first time ever seeing a podiatrist so I didn't know what to expect. Dr Keppler was very kind & attentive to my issue. He explained the anatomy, took xrays, showed them to me & explained what I was looking at. He gave me several options for treatments &, since the inflammation isn't stemming from an injury, allowed me to decide which course of action I wanted to pursue. So I did make another appointment with him just because, I don't know, I have medical assistance insurance and he's one of the providers that I can go to but I don't know, I guess I'm not loving it. "I was recommended to Dr. Keppler about 1 1/2 years ago by Dr. Kracium to have my big toe nails burned off with acid. At that time Dr. Keppler talked me into just trimming them, which if had done what I initially asked I would not have needed another appointment to have my right big toe burned off. I will need another appointment to have the left one done in the near future. The nurse was so nice and helpful and listened to me. When Dr. Keppler came into the room he started off with burning off the nail, but he also said 3 words that offended me, "I don't care". He didn't care what I decided to do or if I decided to have both toes burned, he didn't care! When the nurse came back in she told me she was glad that I decided to just one which made me feel good and someone cared about me. When to Dr. retuned I asked him about my ankle, which he replied what did we do? I DIDN'T look at your file! He asked me did we do x-rays? Again if he would have listened to me when I came in about my ankle, I asked for x-rays but he decided to tell me about what kind of shoes to buy and an ankle brace I should try. I told him I did buy the shoes and the ankle brace but my ankle seems worse. I told him when I stretch I can hear grinding in my ankle, like bone on bone. He felt my ankle and told me it was PROBABLY arthritis, that was the last straw, probably what great medical advise. I've had 3 appointment's and I am done with Dr. Keppler, my next appointment will be with a different doctor."
