As a nurse who works in healthcare, I was looking for someone who could treat me holistically and truly listened to me as a female. So I asked my coworkers who meet periodically with offices in the area. Gretchen Hong came HIGHLY recommended. As a new patient, I did have to wait a few months to get in but it was DEFINITELY worth the wait. She is amazing. The office staff is amazing and her nurse was extremely helpful and comforting. I didnt feel uncomfortable at any point. It was a great experience."

"My provider brought a residency/practicum student into the appointment with her and thanked me for allowing the student to join us. I was never directly asked if I was comfortable with an unfamiliar student taking part. While I did not end up being bothered by the student's presence, I imagine there are patients who would be very uncomfortable with this "surprise" and might have trouble communicating their wishes if they preferred a student not be present (especially younger patients and ESL patients). I appreciate the need for student medical providers to take part in routine exams--however, I would have appreciated actually being asked or better informed ahead of time (if there was language about this in the intake paperwork, it did not stand out to me). In short, my visit was fine, but I am concerned that the circumstances could have been a serious problem for someone more anxious or less outspoken than me."

She was rude and very rough with me, especially when I told her I have small veins that roll & requested a butterfly needle be used.
