"Got me in quickly and started tests on me right away to find out what was going on. Then after being diagnosed with diverticulitis. They kind of sent me on my way with a packet. The only thing I wish they did was explain more about what this was and how I should change my diet and what to eat. The packet didn't hardly have much information in it. In the end I just did my own research on diverticulitis. Other than that the staff were exceptional, especially for it being a holiday."

"Little bit embarrassing since I passed out before blood work and woke up to 8 adults surrounding me in a tiny room. The phlebotomist was nice but when I expressed concern over the number of vials I wish he would have told me they weren't all being filled because that made me very nervous."

"When I was called back into the room the nurse was very professional, she did all the little tests when she left to do the strep test, the room was cold, no blanket, no pillow to lay back on!!! I was miserable and trying to get some answers!!! At the end I was told it was just a virus!!! Get something over the counter!!!!!! I could have used some advice on what to purchase to help me get better quicker. Finally today I was able to talk to a pharmacist and get something to help!!! She was very efficient to remember to get me a work release!"

"I wish I would have gotten the names of the ladies who checked me in. They were my saving grace. I had just left a different urgent care and they accidentally sent my child's prescription to a closed pharmacy. My daughter was so sick and I tried calling so many after hour numbers to no avail. I took my daughter into Medical Associates acute care where I was listened to and attended to immediately. The ladies at the front area literally advocated for me. They made phone calls and spoke to staff to see what my options were. Ultimately, my daughter was seen and was diagnosed with something that was missed at the previous urgent care. The medication they prescribed helped tremendously and my daughter is no longer miserable. She's back to her normal self today and had so much more energy because of the help and care we received at medical associates. Edit: I called and obtained their names. The ladies up front were Amy and Shawna. The nurse practitioner was also so sweet. Had she not caught the second issue my daughter was having and offered her the correct medication, I believe my daughter would still feel very sick today. I cannot thank the administrative staff, nurses, and nurse practitioner enough for listening to my concerns and taking such intentional care of my 7 year old. It made the biggest difference in my day. Thank you a million times."

"It would be great if ACC had a juice to mix the steroid dose with when pediatric patients are being seen. In peds they typically mix with an apple juice to help the taste of drinking a steroid. I understand that maybe this is not typical but when a 5 year old has to drink a steroid and wash it with water, watching it run out of his mouth because of the taste, is less than ideal."

"Loved the provider and would definitely recommend. Did not love the check in process. The staff member asked me to say my address- this is personal information that not everyone wants to just throw out in front of every other patient waiting. She then asked me if I'm employed. I have insurance which she confirmed prior so why is it necessary to ask if I'm employed? My personal life is no one's business so these questions seem very inappropriate in an open room full of other patients. Out of all the places I've lived and received medical care, Medical associates is the only place I've ever been to that asks all these personal questions every visit and it's really not necessary."

"I grew up with Dr. King in Cuba City, and whenever he did an x-ray, he brought it in, and we looked at it together. And I went through the x-ray process, but I didn't get to see the x-ray. And so I just think that would be a good part of care if the patient could see the x-ray with the provider. This was a PA, I believe, that I saw. She was very friendly. And I was in pain for, well, it's been 10 days now. And I'm just on Tylenol, and I just, I'm so grouchy because of it. In the past, they always gave me hydrocodone, and I could at least live, you know. And I really, I don't know what the regulations are that made that not a normal standard drug anymore, but it seems ridiculous that somebody has to suffer in that kind of pain for that long. And that was my only gripes about the whole process. And it was slow. You guys didn't have enough providers, but you can't help that. There's not people to work. There's not people to work. Thank you."

"They made me feel that my symptoms were insignificant . I checked in at approximately shortly after 3:30 PM. I went to x-ray probably shortly after 345 . shortly after 5 PM, I let them know that I had to go home and to please call me with the results. They said that would be fine . At around 6:30 or so. I called back and there were no results yet. I really needed to get my results because I didn't know if I could go to work or not pending the x-ray results. I finally got a call approximately at 7:45 PM. I got a call from the nurse. I can't remember her name, but I think it was [REDACTED] and she was in quite a hurry and talking really fast about my results. I was disappointed that the PA doctor did not call me back. I wanted to ask more questions. It's really sad that I didn't get my results to 7:45 PM at night when I had to let my place employment know that I would not be at work by 11 PM. That really leaves my employee shorthanded to find my replacement leaves it was gonna take so long to get my results from radiology I should've got a call or an update letting me know that it was gonna take this long. Told me to Follow Up With orthopedic which I did but Shannon Davis Weis was out of office until I think 8/18."

"Urgent Care experience was fine, but our visit involved an ER trip for a CAT scan. The wait for results was inexcusable, beyond the 90 minute turn around time for a doctor to read the results. The Urgent Care staff were waiting, we were waiting. The entire visit turn into almost 6 hours. I wish urgent care/medical associates could extend their hours later in the evenings (including access to labs) to avoid ER visits unless for real emergencies. Mercy's ER needs to revamp their processes or add staff."

"Restroom was not clean. There was a puddle of pee on floor in front of the toilet. I cleaned it up with paper towels and the shelf where you set the specimen was dirty. (Pee?) These rooms should be checked out after each person uses them."

"The wait for an ultrasound of my wrist was exceedingly long, and I ultimately had to go to Mercy. Then I had to be registered again. So my short trip to acute care took the entire morning!"

"Coughing is still extreme but not as often. Taking OTC flu and cold caplets per box directions. Still chest rattle, and phelgm is rarely coughed up. Secretions are very thin. ? Unlike any bronchial condition I've ever had. At least I did not have pneumonia which was my concern."

"We were there for over two and a half hours, and it's not because they were busy. The department got us in and out quickly, as did x-ray, but we had to wait for a radiologist to read the x-rays, and they were not on campus at all. She either said the doctor was reading it in Indiana or India. My husband and I both heard different, so I'm not sure where, but I think that's a sad situation. I'm a retired nurse. That's really sad when people, there should be somebody closer that can read that and not make people wait. We would have been out of there two hours earlier had someone been able to look at our x-ray. And that would be my only complaint. Thank you."
