"No one told me I needed to check in at the lab reg desk after leaving acute care. I thought the order was sent straight away. I sat for over 45 minutes waiting to give a speciman. I finally went to the reg desk & they then informed me of the need to check in. Another patient sitting next to me had a similar experience, but she was actually told there was no need to check in at the desk, her order went straight to the lab. There needs to better communication with staff to patients about procedures, especially those of us who are newer to MA. Some signage with instructions on procedure would be helpful as well. Also, the restrooms in the lab were not very clean."

"I was able to see a provider immediately. I was able to get into an exam room immediately. They noticed that I was an oncology patient of Dr. Engelman's and so moved me into an exam room right away, which was greatly appreciated. I also appreciated her willingness to test me for everything and also do a chest x-ray. I was told that the results would take a bit and encouraged to go home. So I went home and they called within the time frame they said they would with the chest x-ray results, which were greatly appreciated. And I was also very thankful to be given a ZPAC, even though I tested negative and a chest x-ray. I was grateful for an antibiotic because I was obviously fighting something. So overall ?"

"Courtney Ambrosy was the P.A. that took care of me and she couldn't have been kinder or more thorough. She seemed to have read my file and was very aware of my health history. She listened carefully to me and explained what she was going to do and why. We need more P.A.'s just like her and doctors, also. She was professional and compassionate and I felt I was in safe hands. I told her never to change. However, you need to improve your dressing rooms for X-rays and mammograms. I had a spasming back and was in terrible pain. I had to completely undress for X-rays. For elderly persons, there needs to be a bar in the dressing room for something to hold on to. Those cushy hassocks give no support for an elderly person. Chairs are needed. Once down on them, you sink, and have nothing to hold on to to get up. It was an impossible task to undress completely with a spasming back and nothing to hold onto or nothing to sit on. Please consider chairs and a bar on the wall to hold on to or help a person stand."

"I got right in to see the provider, she sent me to lab. I went back to see the provider after lab, where I waited for over an hour and a half. I had to ask the receptionist how much longer as many people came and went. She came back and said I was next, I then watched them set my folder on the side. My lab was a simple urin test which when I took a home test was 2 minutes. They need a better system so sick patients are not left in the waiting room because they were overlooked."
