"When I got into the exam room, the nurse asked if the ladies at reception told me to put on a mask. When I told her no, she seemed annoyed. This was an add-on appointment, and I was grateful for the appointment. I was at the check-in desk between 7-10 minutes before my appointment. They were having problems finding my insurance in the system and had to make a call for assistance. I didn't get checked in until 8 minutes or more past my appointment time. I feel like the nurse and doc were annoyed with me because I was "late" I have been late for appointments before, but have called. If there is a preference for some patients to go to Acute Care for certain diagnoses, I feel that should be communicated at the time of requesting an appointment. Again, I am grateful for the last minute appointment, but I felt the staff was hurried and were worried about treating someone who may have been contagious. There were no instructions on the newly prescribed medication other than its name."
