"A month or so ago when I first called Jackson County Regional Health Center to find out which dermatologist comes to Jackson County I was given a number to call. (In davenport, I have a dermatologist and I wanted another one.) So i called and made an appointment for a dermatologist. I was asked for what reason and I told them. I actually did not know the name of the doctor so I couldn't Google. However, I did Google the address itself in Dubuque, (I just didn't know who I was having) So I waited and waited for the appointment When I was checking in at Jackson County Regional Center I said I was here for my dermatology appointment and she quickly said something like we don't have a dermatologist and we have an allergist in it. I didn't know what she meant because that's not who I had scheduled an appointment with (or so I thought) Little did I know I now have to get another appointment, to go to a dermatologist. (Which is what I requested in the beginning, a month or so ago). Though the doctor and staff was very kind and knowledgeable I had not asked for an allergist So now I'm waiting again and still no solution"

This way people who are assisting a patient who physical challenges can easily assist them with transferring the patient from a car to a wheelchair or assisting the patient from wheelchair to the car. Also, this way people who are walking into Medical Associates isn't inhaling automobile exhaust."

"The computer system was down 5/15/25. This made getting registered for my appointment difficult -- I was behind someone trying to schedule their next appointment. Dr. McClimmon was unable to see my health history. I encourage you to set up a paper backup procedure for patients to be able to check in when computers are down. I had registered in advance, but that link on my phone also failed."

"I don't remember the 1st nurse that brought me back, but I recognize her as a longtime employee. Very nice, professional. Cassie took me back for a breathing test. She's very likable as well. She was good at encouraging the continuation of breathing and felt a good connection in trusting her instructions. She also came back to the room to check I was using inhaler correctly. I knew my appointment was going further out because I wanted to be seen by Dr McClimon. He was very personable and caring towards me as a patient and I can't express how much I appreciate that. I'm fortunate to live in the US with great healthcare and work for the clinic. Best place to come for great care. Not everyone is so fortunate to have that experience."
