And apparently it's not real important to get in quick because they can't do me my surgery until September 1st only because they're short of health. Is this okay to wait that long? Or would he have recommended somebody if I needed it sooner to get out of town or something? That's all. Thank you."

I understand there aren't enough doctors like this doctor, but it's been very frustrating that it took that long to get an appointment and still requiring me to wait a long time, like over a month to see the doctor. "The nurse was terrific. When I expressed my nervousness, she took it seriously and was reassuring. After my appointment, she had to get a procedure scheduled with radiology. When it took longer than she had anticipated for radiology to respond, she called me to let me know why there was a delay. I really appreciated that. And she called early the next morning with a response. I immediately felt confidence about the doctor's competence. He too was kind, personable, and honest about what he did and didn't know. And he explained that there would be more tests even if the biopsy result is negative. I left feeling better than I had when I arrived."
