He asked me many more questions and went over my numbers from the lab work, which Dr. Bland does not do. Again, I'm pleased that my kidney is doing well. Talking under her breath to a coworker next to her with me standing in front of her surprised. After coming to numerous appointments and departments at Medical Associates this was the first I remember feeling it was an inconvenience to help me. A nurse followed up shortly after my appointment with additional information for me so that was helpful. Only cause for concern was the receptionist."

"I entered this appointment with some fear about my ongoing high blood pressure issues, and after my first contact with the nurse I started to feel at ease. She listened to my medical story, (not just reading my chart), and her demeanor made me feel better. It didn't stop there as the dr. acted in the very same way, but went further into explaining the reasons for planned (multiple) tests. He did all this all while being mildly positive about my prognosis. The scheduling nurse couldn't have been nicer as we fit my future appointments into my calendar. Kudos to that whole office!!"
