Amber received her Bachelor's degree in Biology in 2008 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010 from Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa.  She has been with Medical Associates since graduating in 2010.

Amber earned her certification in the McKenzie Method for Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy for the spine and extremities in 2022. She has been certified in LSVT BIG for treatment of patients with Parkinson's disease since 2015.  Amber has taken additional courses on treatment of pediatric, pregnant, post-partum, and women's incontinence.  She is also certified in Astym, a method using tools for soft tissue mobilization, and blood flow restriction training (BFR) since 2020.  

Amber enjoys being with her family, playing volleyball, golf, and traveling.  She grew up in Southeast Minnesota. She currently lives in Peosta, Iowa, with her husband and two children.

"Amber and her nurses are so kind and helpful! They all had great energy and are so welcoming! Amber provided great information regarding my issue and several options to help. She also gave me a coupon to Brown's shoe and my new shoes made a huge difference immediately! She is encouraging and didn't even make me feel bad when I told her I didn't do the prescribed stretch as often as she ordered. PT is a lot of work and, often, not fun, but working with Amber has been enjoyable! I'm looking forward to further appointments with her!"
