Our physical therapists help restore and improve your physical function.

Physical therapy is a type of treatment you may need when health problems make it hard to move around and do everyday tasks. Injuries, physical impairments and disabilities can affect your movements.  Physical therapy helps improve or restore your physical function and your fitness level by decreasing pain, making you stronger and helping you move better.

The goal of the Medical Associates Physical Therapy department is to provide treatment for patients that will help make daily tasks and activities easier. Physical Therapists are experts in movement and are highly trained to evaluate a patient's condition, and design and implement an individualized treatment program.

  • A treatment program may include:
    • Rehabilitation
    • Exercise programs for strength, stretching, balance
    • Home-based programs
    • Self-care techniques
    • Modalities
    • Hands on application

Medical Associates Physical Therapists practice in collaboration with referring healthcare providers from other disciplines including primary and specialty care providers. Patients may also access our physical therapists through self-referral.
