Comprehensive Cancer Center
Mercy Medical Center and Medical Associates recently won CON approval to build and operate a fully integrated, comprehensive cancer center. The center will be the first in Dubuque and the tri-state region to conveniently offer an array of hematology/oncology outpatient services including chemotherapy infusion along with radiation oncology services in the same building. Features of the new cancer center will include state-of-the-art technology, access to pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, nurse navigators, and other members of the care team in one convenient location.

The Medical Associates department of oncology received national recognition for high quality cancer care after becoming one of the first oncology practices in the nation to be recognized by the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative Certification Program (QOPI®), an affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
