Tyler Willman, MD, Earns Focused Practice Designation

Medical Associates Clinic is pleased to announce that Tyler Willman, MD, has successfully passed the national exam and earned the Focused Practice Designation (FPD) in Adult Complex Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery, awarded jointly by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.

This designation recognizes board-certified ENT surgeons who have demonstrated advanced expertise and significant experience in complex thyroid and parathyroid surgery. It goes beyond standard ENT board certification and is specifically awarded to surgeons who routinely manage high-risk cases, including advanced thyroid cancer, reoperative surgery, and complex parathyroid disease. Last year, fewer than 200 surgeons nationwide achieved this certification.

Dr. Willman joined the Otolaryngology (ENT) Department at Medical Associates Clinic in May 2020. He diagnoses and treats head and neck disorders for patients of all ages, offering both medical and surgical care. Surgical procedures include cancer surgery; ear, sinus, and throat surgery; and nasal, reconstructive, and plastic surgery.

The Medical Associates ENT team, including Tyler Willman, MD, Timothy King, MD, and Charles Parker, MD, continues to provide advanced specialty care for patients throughout the Tri-State area, offering comprehensive care for thyroid and parathyroid conditions, as well as disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck.
