New Provider Joins Medical Associates Psychiatry & Psychology

Medical Associates Clinic is pleased to announce the arrival of Pieper Waara, DNP, to our Psychiatry & Psychology Department.

Pieper received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Psychiatric Mental Health from Clarke University in Dubuque, IA, and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA.

Most recently, she worked as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Clarke University, and previously as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Postpartum Nurse at MercyOne, both in Dubuque, IA.

As a member of the Medical Associates Psychiatry & Psychology Department, Pieper provides diagnostic assessment, counseling, and therapeutic intervention for patients six years of age and older.

Our Psychiatry & Psychology Department is a specialized support team trained to care for individuals of all ages with emotional, cognitive, and behavioral concerns. Our board-certified psychiatrists and nurse practitioners, along with our licensed psychologists and therapists, provide services that address the full spectrum of mental health disorders and behavior problems.
