New Provider Joins Medical Associates Ophthalmology

Medical Associates Clinic is pleased to announce the arrival of Erica da Silva, OD, to our Ophthalmology Department.

Dr. da Silva received her Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR, and Bachelor of Science in Biology and Spanish from Carroll University in Waukesha, WI. She also completed her residency in Optometry at the Sierra Vista VA Medical Center in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Most recently, Dr. da Silva worked as an Optometrist and Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado in Aurora, CO.

Dr. da Silva is a Dubuque native, and as a member of the Medical Associates Ophthalmology Department, she provides routine and preventive care of the eyes as well as the diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases affecting the eye and vision.

Our Ophthalmology Department provides total eye care to the Tri-State area, including the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, including cataracts. Medical Associates is currently the only provider in the region to offer laser-assisted cataract and LASIK surgery.
