Medical Associates Clinic is expanding advanced heart care by introducing two innovative treatment options for patients with heart failure and abnormal heart rhythms. Medical Associates Cardiologist Brian Loc, DO, is the only provider in the Tri-State area offering both the CardioMEMS™ HF System and the Micra™ Leadless Pacemaker. These minimally invasive treatment options provide eligible patients with access to advanced heart care locally.
The CardioMEMS HF System is an innovative, remote monitoring solution designed to help patients living with heart failure stay healthier and avoid unnecessary hospitalizations. Using a small, implanted sensor that measures pulmonary artery pressure, the system enables clinicians to detect early signs of worsening heart failure and make timely treatment adjustments. By allowing providers to detect changes before symptoms worsen, CardioMEMS can help reduce heart failure-related hospitalizations, improve quality of life, and give patients greater confidence in managing their condition.
