New Provider Joins Medical Associates Heart Care

Medical Associates Clinic is pleased to announce the arrival of Alyssa Egan, DNP, to our Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery Departments.

Alyssa received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Clarke University in Dubuque, IA, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Madison, WI.

Since 2021, she has worked as a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Anticoagulation Clinic and Cardiology Department.

As a member of the Medical Associates Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery Departments, Alyssa prepares patients preoperatively for surgical interventions, checks on them during their hospital stay, and provides outpatient follow-up care after surgery. She also assists in the evaluation, treatment, and ongoing management of cardiovascular diseases.
