Oncology
The Department of Oncology provides comprehensive diagnosis, consultation,
and treatment of cancer and blood diseases for patients 18 years
and older.
Special Services:
The Medical oncologists are primarily involved with drug (chemotherapeutic)
treatment of cancer and work closely with the Radiation oncologists
at the Wendt Regional Cancer Center to give complete service to
patients.
Our specialists will answer questions concerning the diagnosis
and treatment of cancer for patients, their families, and referring
physicians.

Referrals to Oncology: Oncology serves as consultant to
primary physicians, and does not accept self-referred patients.
Patients who are interested in a consultation on cancer should contact
their primary physician first, who can then make the referral to
Oncology.
