Dyersville Family Practice is a satellite office of Medical Associates
Clinic, P.C. in Dubuque. There are 3 family practice physicians
practicing in the office; Robert Tomas, D.O., Thomas Miner, D.O.,
and Joseph Snyder, M.D. Our physicians provide comprehensive health
care services to people in this community from birth to old age.
Our goal is to provide you and your family with the kind of quality
health care we know you would expect from your doctor.
Family doctors are specially trained doctors who have received
an extra three years of specialty training in family medicine. The
field of family medicine includes a variety of different services
that often surprise many by their number. Some of the services we
provide include: all routine pediatric care including well baby
care, and immunizations, routine women's gynecological exams including
follow up for abnormal pap tests which includes colposcopy and cryosurgery,
all aspects of adult and geriatric care including physicals, blood
pressure treatment, colorectal cancer screening, cardiac stress
testing, removal of skin cancers, moles, blemishes, warts, and many
other skin lesions, tympanography, allergy injections, all contraception
methods, and treatment of acute illnesses. When specialty care is
needed, we make referrals to a specialist in Dubuque and work closely
with them to ensure you receive the proper care needed.
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

emergency, there will always be a physician available to see you
through the emergency room at Mercy Health Center, St. Mary's Unit.
We utilize Mercy, St. Mary's Unit as our facility for admissions
should the need arise. We also use the hospital's x-ray and laboratory
services which offer a full range of testing and diagnostics.
