 The
Acute Care and Acute Care West provide urgent care treatment for non-life threatening
emergencies and walk-in medical services to all area patients. Acute
Care is a convenient option for those times when you need treatment
for your minor illness or injury and a visit to your personal physician
is not possible. No appointment is necessary.
The Medical Associates
Acute Care is staffed with a highly qualified team of board-certified
physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. This
expanded staffing means you will be seen and treated promptly.
In addition, recent patient satisfaction surveys demonstrate our
Acute Care provides outstanding medical care and customer service.
All of this, and your co-pay is considerably less than a visit to
the emergency room!
The Acute Care is convenient
for minor injuries such as fractures, abrasions, contusions, lacerations
and illnesses such as headaches, colds, flu, abdominal pains, coughs,
earaches, and sore throats. Access to complete patient records,
laboratory, and radiology services is available.
The department works
closely with the other Medical Associates departments and refers
patients needing specialized care to the appropriate department.
