  • Ask questions about your plan coverage
  • Ask questions about your claims

If you prefer to speak to someone, you may call our Member Services Department at 584-4885 or (toll free) 866-821-1365 and they would be happy to assist you.

Appeals and Grievances

As a Medical Associates Health Plan member, you have the right to file a complaint— also called a grievance—about problems you have.

A complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction expressed to us by the member or a member's authorized representative, about us or our providers with whom we have a direct or indirect contract. Medical Associates Health Plans takes all member complaints seriously and is committed to responding to them in an appropriate and timely manner.

If you have a complaint regarding any aspect of care or decisions made by us, please contact our Member Services Department at 584-4885 or (toll free) 866-821-1365. We will document and investigate your complaint and notify you of the outcome of your complaint. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you can file an appeal. For detailed information regarding these procedures, please reference your subscriber agreement found on My eLink under Benefit Information.
